Perth's Catholic parishioners have reacted with shock and disbelief at media reports a priest who was found dead on Thursday was the subject of a police child abuse investigation.
In hundreds of social media posts since news of Fr Joseph Tran's death was first reported on Friday, local Catholics described the Armadale-based priest as warm-hearted, kind and loving, with many expressing dismay at the allegation levelled against him.
