Update: Shortly after the New York attorney general's office announced it would investigate clergy sexual abuse in all of the state's Catholic dioceses, New Jersey announced it would also be doing a similar investigation, according to northjersey.com.
New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said he's forming his own task force, which could use subpoenas and other investigative methods to uncover evidence that it would present to a state grand jury. The task force is to look into allegations of abuse as well as attempts to cover up incidents, Grewal's office said in a press release.
