Pennsylvania’s entire grand jury system could be undermined if a group of people are successful in blocking publication of a grand jury report that criticizes them for their roles in the scandal of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, the state attorney general’s office argued in a court filing Thursday.
Senior Deputy Attorney General Daniel Dye argued that the state Supreme Court should immediately release the voluminous report into how six dioceses handled sexual abuse.
