An inquiry has heard how children at a Roman Catholic church school near Bath were targeted by sex offenders over the course of many decades.
The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) is examining the prevalence of paedophilia in the English Benedictine Congregation and failures in protecting young people. It is focusing on offenders that targeted children at two Roman Catholic schools, Downside in Radstock and Ampleforth in North Yorkshire, reports Somerset Live.
