PETER Fox wasted no time getting into the ears of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten at the final sitting day of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse on Thursday.
“I said to them if they want to get the churches to do what needs to be done then they have to wield a big stick, and the big stick with churches is money,” said the former Hunter detective chief inspector whose television interview in November 2012 sparked a NSW inquiry that led to the royal commission.
