Cardinal Donald Wuerl, head of the Washington
archdiocese, apologized to Tim Bendig who was sexually abused by a
priest as a boy. He "told the truth," Wuerl said, "about a priest who
was a terrible danger to children and without his action that priest
might have continued in the ministry."
