A senior MP has called it "disgraceful" that the former chairwoman of
the Independent Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse (IICSA) has refused to
appear before a House of Commons committee.

Affairs Select Committee chair Yvette Cooper said Dame Lowell Goddard,
who quit in August and returned to New Zealand, had left unanswered
questions. Ms Cooper said MPs would be considering what action to take to force the judge to appear before them if she returned to the UK.
