A Catholic priest was allowed to have contact with children for at least
two years after being accused of abuse, a new report released by the
church's child protection watchdog has found.
The Salvatorian priest later admitted that he abused over a hundred children in Ireland up to 2004, two years after the allegations were made. He was convicted three years later, served 18 months in prison and died in 2009.
