KEVIN McKenna's article ("Time to turn the spotlight on abuse by
priests nearer home”, The Herald, February 6) is worth commending. I
also look forward to seeing the film this week, respecting the opinion
of friends who have viewed it and found it to be a moving experience.
A meeting of an hour with Angela Constance,the Education Secretary is an insult. Whilst it is an initial step, given the distress of the participants further time is crucial.
