A WOMAN says she was raped by a Neerkol Orphanage employee who used a broom handle. When she complained she made to scrub a floor with a tooth brush, she said.
The
woman, known as AYL at the royal commission into child sexual abuse,h
said she had witnessed her alleged assailant, Kevin Baker, sexually
molesting a boy until blood was running down the boy’s leg. She said she told a Sister of Mercy nun about the assault and the bleeding boy and was slapped across the face.
