A lawyer tasked with investigating allegations of abuse at a Catholic
children's choir in southern Germany says he has documented 231
allegations ranging from beatings to rape.
Ulrich Weber says the incidents include 50 plausible cases of sexual abuse. The alleged abuses took place at the Regensburger Domspatzen boys' choir and two associated boarding schools between 1953 and 1992. Most have passed the statute of limitations for criminal complaints.
