Anthony Johnson, whose 7-year-old child and crack cocaine were in his
car when he offered an undercover Pittsburgh police officer money for
sex in Carrick last month, was among 61 johns and nine prostitutes
Pittsburgh police arrested from Aug. 4 to 15 as part of a national
effort to quell buyers.
Two johns also were strapped with drug charges when they tried to exchange cocaine and the painkiller Suboxone, in addition to money, for sex, police said. Twice as many johns were rounded up as last year in the 12-day effort, Narcotics and Vice Lt. Robert A. Roth said.
