An Alaska state
trooper arrested 52-year-old Father Sean P. Thomson for drunk driving
south of Fairbanks. Instead of a vehicle registration, he handed over a
receipt and admitted to being drunk, but failed to let the officer know
he was carrying a 9-mm. handgun while intoxicated.
A Catholic priest at University of Alaska Fairbanks was arrested for a
triad of alleged sins including drunk driving, marijuana and packing
heat. Father Sean P. Thomson, 52, told an Alaska state trooper he was drunk
and handed over a receipt instead of a vehicle registration on Monday
night. He had a breath-alcohol content three times the legal limit, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported.http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/priest-arrested-driving-drunk-carrying-drugs-guns-article-1.1739800
