JRR Tolkien's eldest son, who became a catholic priest and abused children, may have been abused as a child himself evidence suggests. The Lord of the Ring's creator's firstborn said he often woke up sharing his bed with someone else when his father's Oxford friends stayed during his 1920s childhood, in a recording made by one of his chief accusers.
