The Catholic Diocese of Saginaw, as well as Michigan's six other Catholic dioceses, are under investigation by the state Attorney General's office which is looking into sex-abuse claims dating to the 1950s. One Saginaw-area priest currently faces criminal sexual misconduct charges and is headed to trial in March.
