Opposition to Memphis Pastor Andy Savage continued to mount Wednesday, with a petition drive calling for his firing or resignation building momentum and a national support group for sexual abuse victims speaking out against him.
The online petition, saying Savage committed a crime and should be disqualified from ministerial leadership, had just under 1,700 signatures by Wednesday evening, up from about 800 Tuesday night. People nationwide have signed.
