Clooney, a human rights lawyer, said the departure of the inquiry's
senior lawyer Ben Emmerson QC had left a 'huge gap' that would be
difficult to fill.

24 hours after he was suspended by chairwoman Alexis Jay over concerns
about his leadership, but the inquiry has refused to release any further
details for the barrister's suspension.
