Punish the guilty, not the whole Catholic Church (Your letters)

The Sept. 15 Post-Standard reported on a meeting at the Craftsman Inn regarding adults who were abused by priests when they were children.
Someone suggested "to hit the diocese in the pocketbook, and take away the income of the diocese'' -- to which the audience broke into applause. The whole diocese was not to blame for individuals.
