An Upper Hutt school has warned parents a convicted sex offender has been released into the community. The
Department of Corrections this week informed the school the sexual
offender had been released into central Upper Hutt, Oxford Crescent
School principal Leanne White said on Friday.
"We are all aware of the recent incident involving a known sexual offender living in central Upper Hutt," Ms White said. "I have emailed the Minister of Corrections expressing our concerns and requested an urgent meeting."
