Both parties guilty of detention 'abuse'

How ironic, and indeed, how tragic, that one of the rare manifestations of such bipartisanship is that it is alleged that both the present Coalition government and its Labor predecessor have violated the human rights of children in detention, leading to extreme levels of suffering and distress ("Hundreds of children victims of 'abuse' ", February 12).
