EDMONTON – A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a child was found seriously assaulted Saturday afternoon, west of Edmonton in Parkland County. James Clifford Paul, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated sexual assault, and kidnapping. Superintendent Gary Steinke, with RCMP K Division, said Monday the accused knew the little girl.
