He can't reform the Catholic Church fast enough for liberals and
will always be a dangerous progressive to Vatican conservatives. But the
former Jorge Mario Bergoglio is living up to his reputation as 'Pope of
Mercy'. They are three of the most iconic public platforms from which a
personage can be privileged to pronounce.

United States Congress in Washington DC and the General Assembly of the
United Nations in New York before travelling to Philadelphia to deliver
an address to the World Meeting of Families (WMF) outside Independence
Hall from the very lectern that President Abraham Lincoln used to
deliver his Gettysburg Address.
